Anti-moisture surface sizing agent use case
1. Basic information of customers
Customer Name: A Paper Industry Co., Ltd. in Dongguan
Customer product: high-strength corrugated base paper
Paper machine model and type: 4800mm/700m two-stack net paper machine
Experimental Paper Model: 110g/m2
Vehicle speed during the experiment: 752m/min.
Experimental product: JH-611 anti-moisture reversion styrene-acrylic surface sizing agent.
Experiment time: 8:00 on June 16, 2022 - 3:00 on June 17, 2022.
Workshop status: 110 grams of high-strength corrugated base paper is produced, and a styrene-acrylic surface sizing agent from a company in Dongguan is now used. The starch dosage is 41kg/t paper, and the long-term minimum dosage of surface sizing agent is 2.95kg/t paper.
Inspection items: ring pressure index, water absorption value, constant temperature and humidity test.
2. Test process
From 8:00 am on June 16, 2022, JH-611 surface sizing agent will be used.
Note: In order to facilitate a fair and reasonable comparison of the two products, both parties agree to conduct the calculation in the following way
Due to the long-term use of the original sizing agent, the amount of paper per ton has been adjusted to the lowest level. This time, the amount and index data of the original sizing agent per ton of paper in the previous 16 hours shall prevail.
In order to ensure stable product quality, JH-611 sizing agent was put into the test with reference to the original product switching method. Adjust after the index is stable for 4 hours, calculate and compare the amount of sizing agent and paper index before and after adjustment.
After the index is stable, the dosage of JH-611 sizing agent and paper index are calculated and compared separately.

Compared with similar products, JH-611 anti-moisture styrene-acrylic sizing agent has the advantages of less dosage, stable paper index and strong anti-moisture ability, which can reduce costs for customers, improve product quality and market. Competitiveness, especially suitable for the application of paper products in high temperature and high humidity environments, is a strong guarantee for papermaking enterprises to improve product quality and develop new markets.
