Surface Sizing Agent for Wrapping Paper

1. SAE surface sizing agent brief introduction:

Surface sizing was carried out with JH-611 surface sizing agent. The surface sizing treatment improved the surface strength of paper, reduced the lint and dust of paper, and at same time lowered the cost of the paper production.

JH-611 is a SAE type cationic surface sizing agent which is composed of styrene, acrylate and special protective colloids. The outer shell is a cationic protective shell, which can enhance the binding between fibers of paper and surface sizing agent to form a continuous film preventing the penetration of water into paper. It possesses low permeability and high sizing effect on paper, especially medium paper without internal sizing (emulsified rosin). It also shows excellent stability, e.g. thermo-stability, mechanical stability, and storage stability. JH-611 works both under acidic & neutral sizing conditions, and is compatible with both oxidized starch and enzyme converted starch. Besides, the sizing performance of JH-611 can be enhanced in the presence of aluminum.

3.1 To improve the water-resistance&RCT significantly of corrugated paper,paperboard and etc.
3.2  To totally replace internal sizing agent,no need aging process and will not let paper get damp.
3.3 Can be used together with starch so as to decrease the sizing cost.
3.4 Have better mechanical stability and less resulted foams during production process.

4.Dosage&Usage tips
4.1 Dosage:1kg to 2kg per mt of paper
4.2 To add JH-611 directly and slowly into mixing tank after the temperature of gelatinized starch decrease to 75℃.It can be used in sizing machine after it is evenly stirred.It can also be added contentiously via meter pulp into starch before the gelatinized starch is used in sizing machine.
5. Package&Storage
The package is 200Liters or 1000Liters IBC drums.It should be stored in cool place.And avoid frozen or sunshine environment.The shelf life time is 6 months.
