Cationic Type

This product is a cationic type, presented as a white ionic emulsion. It contains a solid content of approximately 35%, with a small variance of plus or minus 1%.

The pH level of this emulsion ranges between 2 and 5, indicating its acidic nature. At a temperature of 25ºC, the viscosity is measured to be less than 200 mPa·s.

Anionic Type

The anionic type also appears as a white ionic emulsion, maintaining a solid content close to 35%, with an allowable fluctuation of ±1%.

Its pH value falls within the range of 5 to 8, making it neutral to slightly alkaline. The viscosity at 25ºC is below 100 mPa·s, which is less viscous compared to the cationic variant.

 

Applications:

This product is highly versatile and can be extensively utilized in different types of paper and cardboard applications. Common uses include printing wrapping paper, writing paper, food wrapping paper, and cable wrapping paper, among others.

Typically, this product is added directly to the pulp during the paper-making process. It can also be effectively combined with rosin glue and a neutral sizing agent to achieve optimal sizing performance.

When incorporating this product into the pulp, the recommended dosage is between 15 to 20 kilograms per metric ton of pulp. Similarly, aluminum sulfate should be added at a rate of 15 to 20 kilograms per metric ton of pulp. For best results, the pH level of the pulp should be maintained within the range of 4.5 to 5.0.
